From the Cosmic Tar Pit of American Psychedelia... Comes the Glorious Rebirth of a Dream-Drenched Monster:

ASTEROID NO.4’s ‘INTRODUCING…’ RETURNS FROM THE ETHER AS A DELUXE 3xLP VINYL TIME MACHINE

— Ladies, gentlemen, space cadets, fuzz freaks, and paisley-wearing lost children of the third stone from the sun—gather round, because the gods of delay-drenched transcendence have smiled upon us. AGAIN.

After 27 years fermenting in the velvet-sleeved corners of underground record crates and headphone-induced bliss, Asteroid No.4—those eternal time-travelers of feedback, drone, and angelic disillusion—have seen fit to bestow upon us a DELUXE 3xLP REISSUE of their 1998 debut album, Introducing the Asteroid No.4. But this ain't just a reprint or a nostalgia cash-in. Oh no. This is a sonic resurrection ritual, a groove-laden seance, an expanded map of the outer mind that includes not just the original acid-drenched blueprint, but a sprawling cathedral of rare cuts, long lost 7”s and alternate-universe transmissions.

If the original album was a shimmering mirage on the far edge of your psyche, this version is the full hallucination. A lava lamp exploded and bled all over 1998, and this is what it sounded like: jangling 12-strings whispering dirty secrets to the stars, drums echoing from the bottom of a canyon shaped like Syd Barrett’s skull, and vocals that sound like they're being sung by a ghost in love with the moon.

The bonus material? We're talking hours of unreleased aural ephemera—some from reel-to-reel vaults, others lovingly extracted from half-forgotten DATs buried in shoeboxes next to incense and old Velvets cassettes. Tracks so rare you’d think they were smuggled out of the Haight-Ashbury under a blacklight cloak.

Packaged in a die cut sleeve cut by a man who claims to have astrally projected into the band’s rehearsal space in 1997, and pressed on cosmic-colored wax (Silver), this set is a shrine to the sacred and the strange. A postcard from a time that never was, and a place that still might be—if only you believe hard enough and play it loud enough.

The Asteroid No.4: Still Floating. Still Glorious. Still Ours.
And now you can hold them in your hands, again.
