Recorded 2021-ish and originally a Bandcamp only digital release, this CD is a collage of loops and moods melded together with accounts of alien abduction scenarios used as somewhat of a narrative. Having it being one long track made (makes) sense to me. You just put it on and drift.
Birdsong, dub. waves and record needle static. A harvest moon or an urban alleyway, your call.
The title is stolen from a quote attributed to Atlantic records co-founder Ahmet Ertegun on why he could not sign the rock band Television.

Just another attempt on my part to make something that resists change, or you could also say, nothing happens. Some moments captured, then gone. The tape player is always rolling, though.

NOTE/
Extra track DOOBIE BROTHERS ON ACID is a nice little bit for those that DLed the original BC one. Of a piece with THIS IS NOT EARTH MUSIC and a cheeky bit of stop-light-swaying-in-the-breeze ambience (Twin Peaks reference there fully intentional). That was recorded in May this year.
