SULA BASSANA - dreamer (22 years anniversary - Sulatron) 5 LEFT

£21.00

The debut album by German spacehead Dave Schmidt aka Sula Bassana was released on vinyl for the first time in 2002 by Nasoni Records. In 2004 it was released as a CD on Dave's label Sulatron Records; and in 2005 it was released again as a silver disc on Elektrohasch Records. 10 years later there was a re-release on LP and CD. A 10 year edition. But not just a simple re-release: The entire material was remastered by Krautrock legend Eroc. There were also 2 bonus tracks on the CD and a completely new artwork by Electric Moon's bassist Komet Lulu, who released her design under the name "Lulu Artwork!" The vinyl (2nd edition of the re-issue!) came as a beautiful, green 180 gram quality wax, surrounded by a black inner sleeve.
NOW comes another re-issue, limited to 300 copies of 180 gram randomly colored recycled vinyl made in Germany, with the original cover artwork of the first two CD editions, designed by Malleus, the cult designer from Italy (Ufomammut members!).
This is the 22 year anniversary edition of the album, the 20 year anniversary of the CD and 20 years of Sulatron Records with a single recording. :)

Neo-psychedelia meets electronic music, and the heartbreaker "My Blue Guitar" will melt even the most hardened heart! Initially very influenced by sixties psych, the album develops towards the end into electronic-experimental music, but this does not detract from the "psychedelic" stamp. The opposite is the case, you are put into a trance from which you only wake up when silence returns, so you can press play again and again! The album ends with the brilliant Pink Floyd cover "Baby Blue Shuffle in D Major". Repeatedly declared by fans to be the best Sula Bassana album, and repeatedly found to be particularly good by the media, it is now being released again.
