From the never ending archive from the kollective that go by the name of 'The Band Whose Name Is A Symbol' comes this archive of curated tracks by John Westhaver. My gashing words on this band are not enough and they are always backed by my actions as thrice have I travelled the spacewaves to see them in their natural habitat and everytime has been the greatest of times.

This TBWNIS journey covers a 5 year span of travel. This trip begins with a droned out dust storm of eastern raga-isms exploring the chaos of a tortured human soul. 4 improvised movements make up "Smoked Pakora and Jazz Cigarettes 1-4" which was recorded live off the floor in some dungeon in the great white north in 2013. This track was discovered in a dusty box buried in a vast desert on another planet. "Escaping The 6th Extinction" is a blues based space rocker that reeks with claustrophobic tension and was from an improv session in 2018 and has never seen light of day on physical format. 2 other tracks from the same session may be found on Vol. 2 of Riot Season's "In Search Of Highs". The final track "In Space We Trust" is an improv recorded at Raven Street Studio during the "Droneverdose" Sessions but cut (unbelievably) from the LP released by Cardinal Fuzz in 2018. TBWNIS achieve maximum propulsion on this full tilt space rocker so light and fly with the boys for this is the way they travel, join them on the trip !
