Cardinal Fuzz and Little Cloud Records are delighted to bring to you Dreamweapon - Rites Of Lunacy. Pressed on Galaxy Blue / Black Vinyl and presented in a 350gsm Card sleeve with full size insert.

Hailing from Porto and naming themselves after the masters of the eternal drone (La Monte Young and Spacemen 3) in ‘Rites Of Lunacy’ Dreamweapon have created the perfect embodiment of the timeless, minimal-is-maximal mantra. Over seven exploratory journeys, the listener can plot out a psychic course that traverses throbbing meditative trance-states and audial epiphanies . From the opening track ‘Rites Of Lunacy’ the menacingly dark atmosphere is all in place and all consuming, Dreamweapon create a swirling groove (and it is a groove) via oscillating synth drones , ghostly vocals and an all consuming throbbing pulse to conceive for the listener something akin to an acid blotched shimmer of haze and feedback. Yet the entire vision the band conveys on this delirious album feels timeless and esoteric.

More than just an album, more than its songs, Rites Of Lunacy is the concept, the matrix in which Dreamweapon operates, that draining spiral that urges us to keep making music. It is, as it was and it shall be, both the past and the future.
